On March 23, 2024, the Home, originally known as the Society for the Relief of Destitute Orphan Boys, held a magnificent gala to celebrate 200 years of community service.

The evening was highlighted by a sumptuous buffet courtesy of Blue Oak BBQ, fine wines provided by the Wine Seller, and the soothing sounds of the Miles Berry Trio.

During a brief ceremony, several older boys presented letters they had created to be placed in a time capsule.

The Home is grateful to Mr. Eric Paulsen, who, in one of his final acts of generosity before his recent passing, narrated a short video about the Home's history.

The festive gathering was the byproduct of the coordinated efforts of the Home’s dedicated staff, with the Board of Directors and family members all contributing, each in their own way, to make the gorgeous night a smashing success.
